ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CRUELTY FREE?
Absolutely! We love animals, and we strongly support the cause of cruelty-free products. Splash of Scent is certified cruelty-free by both PETA and Leaping Bunnies, the two leading cruelty-free organizations.
DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN PHTHALATES OR PARABENES?
No and no. Many of the larger commercial perfumes do contain phthalates, but we make sure that our don’t, since there negative health impact of phthalates. Parabenes are typically used in soap and similar products, so you wouldn’t normally find them in fragrances, but we make 100% sure that our fragrances do not contain them.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?
Completely. We do not use any product that is derived from animals. None. And that goes beyond ingredients like civet, and even includes beewax. Our small winged friends need all the help hey can get.
WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?
All of our fragrances are created by ourselves. So you are buying directly from the source, from the perfumer. We create and blend our fragrances in our labs in the hills north of Los Angeles.
YOU ONLY OFFER A COUPLE OF FRAGRANCES?
We started Splash of Scent rather recently. And we only sell our own creations, which do cost time to make. But we are continuously working on our perfumes, so you will see our choice of fragrances expanding.
HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
All of our shipping is FREE! We baked the shipping cost into the overall cost structure, so you don’t get any ugly surprises at check-out.
DO YOU SHIP WORLD-WIDE?
We so wish we did. But currently we only can offer shipping to the US and Canada. Some day (sigh).
DO YOU SHIP TO ALASKA, HAWAII, APOS OR FPOS?
We feel bad, but we don’t (yet).
HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
We usually fulfill your order the same day, or the next day, depending on what time you order. Our shipments go through USPS/UPS Ground, and they quote 2-8 business days. Mostly, it turns out to be 2-3 days.
Returns & Exchanges
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
It is our ultimate objective to provide you with a fantastic experience. We stand behind our products and we want you to be satisfied with them. If you’re not satisfied however, we’ll happily apply a refund within 30 days of you receiving your order. Simply send us an email at [email protected], send your product back, and we’ll take care of you right away.
Please note that we cannot return shipping costs, which will be deducted from the return amount.
WHEN DO I GET MY REFUND?
Return shipping typically can take from a couple of days up to 10 days. Once we have received your return, we process your refund immediately. Typically, your refund will then show up on your original form of payment after 3-5 business days.
